-Baby is 2.5 inches and weighs 8 to 14 grams.
-Baby can squint, open his mouth and move his fingers and toes.
-Baby's digestive system is able to make contractions that push food through the bowels and also is able to absorb sugar.
-The pituitary gland is beginning to produce hormones.
-Baby's brain is fully formed, baby can feel pain and can even suck his thumb.
-Baby's eyelids will remain shut until the seventh month to protect the optical nerve fibers.
