Geez, they couldn't find a fruit the looked more appealing than a prune?! Here's the scoop on baby this week:
-Baby is approx. 1.25 to 1.68mm and weighs 5 grams.
-Baby's fingers and toes have completely separated to form single digits.
-Baby has developed taste and tooth buds.
-Baby's brain is growing at a rapid rate and a quarter of a million new neurons are produced every minute.
-Baby's heart is completely developed.
-Though the external genitalia are not apparent until next week, if the baby is a boy the testes will begin to produce testosterone.
