Today mom and I went to Hobby Lobby (the best place ever) and picked some things up for the baby shower. I'm doing a brown and blue theme. We found table cloths, plates, napkins and cups, then coordinated the other items we got to those. I'll get some pics up as soon as we start making some of the favors and centerpieces.
I already rented the community center at the park by our house. I think I'm going to have to make the invitations. I've looked at every store imaginable and nothing is jumping out at me. And I can probably make them cheaper than I can order them off the internet. So that's the plan. I just need to research some ideas so I can get materials. I'm super excited though... I still have to come up with some games to play, but I'm sure I can google that one.
Bobby's aunt Denise in Tennessee is throwing me a shower also, I'm super excited about that one too! I asked if she needed me to help out with anything and she told me absolutely not, lol. I just need to waddle myself over there on March 1st and bring my mom. Haha... I love her so much.
I guess I should probably get some belly pictures up, I haven't posted any since 24 weeks. I'll work on getting Bobby off his computer long enough to take the pictures, lol... Not an easy task. Oh, I fell down the last two steps on our stairs today. I'm fine and baby let me know quickly that he was fine too. He gave me a good "What the heck, mom?" kick after it happened. I laid down for a while after and made sure he kicked another couple of times, which he did. It took my adrenaline a long time to go back to normal levels though. I think I was sweating for about 15 minutes after it happened. It was extremely weird. But I made sure I wasn't contracting and then I checked for spotting about 50 times. All was ok... well, except for my upper butt/right hip which is in the process of turning pretty shades of blue and purple. I hit it on the wooden corner part at the bottom of the stairs. Ouch...
